About
Relay is a client for a Relay hub — a small service you run yourself that aggregates webhooks, RSS/JSON feeds, and HTTP checks into one signal stream. The app connects to the hub you point it at and shows every signal in a live, filterable feed, with an Overview dashboard and a one-tap integrations catalog.
Just want to look around? Turn on Demo mode (offered on first launch, and in Settings → Demo) to explore the whole app with realistic sample data — no hub required.

Relay talks only to the hub you point it at — no third-party accounts, no tracking.
Getting started
- Run a Relay hub, or open the Relay app on your Mac to get a hub URL and pairing code.
- On first launch, enter your hub’s URL to create an account, scan the desktop pairing QR, or paste a relay key by hand.
- New signals stream into the Feed in real time. Filter by level, mute noisy sources, and mark items seen.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a server to try Relay?
No. Turn on Demo mode to explore the full app with sample data. To receive your own signals you connect the app to a Relay hub you run.
“Create account” showed an error — what happened?
Creating an account reaches out to your hub, so it needs a valid, reachable hub URL. If you don’t have a hub yet, use Demo mode instead — no connection required.
Is my data private?
Yes. Relay has no analytics or tracking, and it talks only to the hub you point it at. See the Privacy Policy.
