The short version
MatterForge does not collect data. It has no account system, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party software development kits. Your research progress is saved only on your device.
Information stored on your device
To preserve your game between launches, MatterForge stores the following locally in Apple’s standard app preferences:
- the materials you have discovered;
- research points and completion progress; and
- attempt and success totals shown in Guide.
This information is not personal data, is not sent to Isaiah Dupree or any third party, and is not used outside the app.
Network access, tracking, and advertising
MatterForge does not need an account or service connection. It does not transmit your research progress, use analytics, track you across apps or websites, serve advertising, or sell or share data.
Device permissions
MatterForge does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or other sensitive device data. Haptic feedback and VoiceOver accessibility features use Apple system capabilities without collecting information.
Retention and deletion
Research progress remains on your device until you reset it or delete the app. To erase progress while keeping the app installed, open Guide, choose Reset research progress, and confirm. Deleting MatterForge removes its locally stored app data from the device, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.
Children
MatterForge does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If MatterForge’s data practices change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect where required, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
