Sonance Recorder

Record system or per-app audio to a file.

About

Record the audio your Mac is playing — the whole system or a single app — straight to a clean file. No cables, no loopback driver, no “Stereo Mix” hacks.

GREAT FOR
• Saving a podcast, interview, or webinar as it plays
• Capturing a video call for notes (with everyone's consent)
• Grabbing audio from a stream, game, or app that has no download
• Ripping just one app's sound while everything else keeps playing

Your audio keeps playing normally through your speakers while Sonance Recorder writes a pristine copy in the background. Built on Core Audio process taps (macOS 14.4+) — driverless and reboot-free.

FEATURES
• Record the whole system to lossless WAV (free)
• Record a single chosen app in isolation (Pro)
• Space-saving Apple Lossless & AAC formats (Pro)
• One-click record from the menu bar + reveal in Finder

Free: whole-system WAV. Pro (one-time purchase): per-app capture + compact formats.

Everything is processed on your Mac and never leaves it.
