FloatPlayer turns any video into a floating window. Import a file, paste a stream link, or pick a sample — then swipe home and it keeps playing in a draggable, resizable Picture-in-Picture window over whatever you're doing.

Getting started
- On the Player tab, pick a sample, paste a video URL, or Import from Files.
- Tap play — then swipe home. The video floats over your other apps.
- Drag the floating window anywhere; pinch to resize; tap to pause or return.
- Use “Bookmark this moment” to save a timestamp; tap it later to jump back.
Frequently asked questions
Picture in Picture didn’t start — why?
Make sure the video is playing when you leave the app, and that “Start PiP Automatically” is enabled in iOS Settings → General → Picture in Picture.
What formats can I play?
Anything iOS plays natively: MP4/M4V/MOV files and HLS (.m3u8) streams. Import from Files or paste a direct link.
Does PiP work for web videos in the Watch tab?
Web players control their own PiP. Some sites limit floating playback (for example, music content may require a subscription on that site). Your own videos on the Player tab always support PiP.
Is my data private?
Yes. FloatPlayer has no account, no analytics, and collects nothing. Your videos and bookmarks stay on your device.
